What Parents Need To Know About College Soccer Recruiting

Three of Jeff’s four children play soccer. Two have both received athletic scholarships with Division 1 college soccer programs. His son, now 23 years old, plays professionally with FC Cincinnati (USL) and also with the Guam’s Men National Soccer Team, where he was named “Man of the Match” in a World Cup Qualifier Game, 2016. His youngest son is also playing with the U17 Men’s National team for Guam.

I am Buford Mobley, founder and CEO of Scholarships For Soccer, LLC.  I am passionate about educating soccer parents and helping to guide them through the bewildering and complicated maze of elite Youth Soccer. I focus on practical strategies that parents can use to develop confident, successful, and happy soccer players.

I am the proud Father of a daughter who played recreational soccer for eight years, and a son who currently plays competitive travel soccer and ODP soccer.
